Datasure TSA · eIDAS qualified timestamping
Give your data a verifiable point in time.
Link files and business events to evidence of time and data integrity with Datasure TSA’s eIDAS qualified timestamping service.
A time reference linked to your data.
Establish existence at a given time
A timestamp associates a date and time with a cryptographic representation of your data.
Check data integrity
Comparing the file’s digest with the timestamp allows you to check that the data matches the evidence.
Automate the evidence point
Request a timestamp at the relevant step in your application or business process.
From data to verifiable evidence.
Compute the digest
Represent the data with a cryptographic digest, using the integration method you have chosen.
Obtain the timestamp
Datasure TSA issues the cryptographic timestamp response linked to that digest.
Keep and verify
Retain the original file and the evidence so they can be checked together later.
Choose how your application connects.
RFC 3161 with Standard
Standard already provides qualified timestamping through the RFC 3161 protocol.
Additional Premium tools
Depending on your plan, add file and PDF processing, search and evidence retrieval functions.
Answers to help you plan your project.
What does a qualified timestamp establish?
It links a date and time to data represented by a cryptographic digest. The evidence relates to the time and integrity of that data.
Do I need to send the original file?
RFC 3161 works with a digest. Some Premium functions process a file or PDF directly, allowing you to choose the method that fits your application.
How should evidence be retained?
Keep the corresponding file, the timestamp and the material needed for verification. Your workflow should also provide for durable document storage.
How do we get started?
Describe your use cases, integration method and usage requirements. Datasure will help define access and the scope of your plan.
