Qualified electronic timestamp

Features of
the eIDAS-qualified timestamp service

Millions of qualified timestamp tokens

Datasure is qualified to deliver a robust, government-recommended trust service: our qualified electronic timestamp service meets strict standards and requirements.

Datasure is a Qualified Trust Service Provider (PSCO) under the European eIDAS regulation (European regulation no. 910/2014).

Qualified PSCOs are regularly audited and controlled by the national control body (the ANSSI in France) to obtain and maintain their qualification. They are included in the National Trust List and the European Commission's Trust List as their status is compulsorily recognised in all EU countries.

"Qualification ensures that the PSCO has implemented and mastered some of the most demanding standards, and that it assumes greater responsibility for its activities"

Sovereign infrastructure
with top-level certification

With our partner Atos, Datasure's qualified timestamp units distribute a load of requests to deliver dozens of timestamp tokens per second, with sub-second accuracy for each time delivered. In a sovereign infrastructure protected by ANSSI-qualified cryptographic security modules (HSMs), tokens are signed by Datasure Timestamp Authority certificates to attest to the exact date issued.

Access to the service (API) via RFC3161 is highly available. The service is also served via another simple HTTP API for timestamping PDF files directly in PAdES format.

Compliance with French,
European and international standards

Datasure has achieved a recognised high level of quality and compliance for its eIDAS-qualified timestamping service.

This compliance involves regular audits by assessment bodies approved by the ANSSI. Our conformity is assessed against specific French requirements, the eIDAS Regulation, the RFC3161 and technical standards including ETSI 319 401, ETSI 319 421 and ETSI 319 422.

Datasure places the security of sensitive assets and information at the top of its priorities, and its compliance with European and international standards means that we can offer a strengthened infrastructure to guarantee risk control and data security.

Innovation
for digital trust

Datasure is the only French Timestamp Authority to offer, as an option in addition to tokens, the generation of signed PDF proof certificates for the eIDAS-qualified timestamps it issues.

More comprehensible to humans and easily producible in court, proof certificates for qualified timestamps are exclusively accessible via the DATASURE PDF Certificate API.

Each timestamp token issued can be the subject of an easily obtainable certificate issued and signed by the trusted third party.
